BARBARA TYSON

Barbara Tyson (Associate) born Los Angeles, California, September 30, 1951. Ms. Tyson earned her B.A. from the University of California, Los Angeles in 1973. Ms. Tyson attended San Diego State University where she earned a California Multi-subject Teaching Credential in 1975, as well as the University of California, Los Angeles, Extension Program where she earned a Paralegal Certificate in 1980. Since this time, Ms. Tyson has worked as a paralegal in prestigious Los Angeles-based family law firms. Ms. Tyson's compassion and experience in all facets of family law led her to the decision to attend law school. In 2005, Ms. Tyson earned her J.D. from the University of West Los Angeles School of Law and was admitted to practice law in the U.S. District Court, Central District of California. While at The University of West Los Angeles School of Law, Ms. Tyson served on the UWLA Law Review. Ms. Tyson is a member of the State Bar of California, and the Beverly Hills and Los Angeles County Bar Associations.

AMANDA B. HARVEY

Amanda Harvey (Associate) born Newport News, Virginia, April 21, 1980.  Ms. Harvey joined the firm in 2005 as a law clerk, while she earned her J.D. from Pepperdine University School of Law in 2006. While attending Pepperdine University School of Law, Ms. Harvey served as an Assistant Editor for the Journal of the National Association of Administrative Law Judges, and she won first place with her trial team at the 2004 San Diego Defense Lawyer’s Mock Trial Competition. Ms. Harvey served as a judicial extern to the Honorable Joe W. Hilberman of the Los Angeles Superior Court. Ms. Harvey received her B.A. in Communication Studies, with a minor in Spanish, from Florida State University in 2000.  Ms. Harvey is a member of the Los Angeles County Bar Association.

ADAM N. SCHANZ

Adam N. Schanz (Associate) earned his J.D. from Pepperdine University School of Law in 2006 and his B.A. from the University of California at Santa Barbara in 2000.  While attending law school, Mr. Schanz worked as a law clerk for a Family Law Judicial Officer who presided over a department in the Los Angeles Superior Court. It was through that clerkship that Mr. Schanz developed a profound interest in Family Law. In 2006, Mr. Schanz was admitted to practice law before the California State Bar, and the United States District Court. In 2009, Mr. Schanz was selected as a "Rising Star" in Family Law by Law & Politics Magazine. 

JENNY C. FENG

Jenny C. Feng (Associate) born Taipei, Tawian, January 3, 1979. Ms. Feng earned her B.A. in Psychology from the University of California, Los Angeles in 2001 and her J.D. from Pepperdine University School of Law in 2006.  While attending Pepperdine University School of Law, Ms. Feng served on the Dispute Resolution Journal, was a member of the legal honors fraternity Phi delta Phi, and served as a judicial extern to the Honorable Marjorie Steinberg of the Los Angeles Superior Court, Central District. Ms. Feng is a member of the Los Angeles and Beverly Hills Bar Associations.

SAWSAN MANSOUR

Sawsan Mansour (Law Clerk) is a fourth year evening student at Southwestern Law School and is scheduled to graduate in May 2010.  Ms. Mansour earned her B.A. in Political Science (magna cum laude) in 2005 from the California State University at Dominquez Hills. While attending law school, Ms. Mansour served as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable Amy M. Pellman of the Los Angeles Superior Court, Central District. Ms. Mansour is a member of the Law Student Division of both the American Bar Association and the Los Angeles County Bar Association.
